Welcome to Mental Miles

Welcome to Mental Miles

Mental Miles is a place for people like me — people left behind.

I lost my mom to suicide. That loss reshaped everything: how I think, how I feel, how I move through the world. I didn’t go to therapy. I didn’t open up right away. I ran.

Running became the only thing that made sense. One mile at a time, I started to unpack the grief, the anger, the confusion — and somehow, it helped. It didn’t fix anything, but it moved something. Maybe that’s enough.

This site isn’t about solutions. It’s about motion. It's about grief, healing, fatherhood, mental health, and the miles in between.
